We started HiHello in 2018 with a very simple question—why are we still exchanging contact information using paper business cards, or worse, just sharing a name and phone number via text? In the 21st century, there had to be a better way when we’re all carrying a supercomputer in our pocket. 

That led us to create the category for digital business cards. While other companies tried to sell overpriced plastic NFC trinkets as replacements for paper business cards, our approach was to build a software platform.

The world has evolved, and the way we work has changed, but business still runs on relationships. Today, many of those relationships begin in the digital realm. The digital impression is often the first impression. And we all know that the first impression matters. 

With hybrid work environments becoming the norm, companies need a way to ensure that their employees and affiliates present themselves professionally across all mediums, whether in-person, on video calls, or in their emails.

When employees connect with prospects over platforms like LinkedIn or via text messages, WhatsApp, WeChat, and more, those relationships are often not being captured by their companies. LinkedIn is a professional network for the individual; the individual controls the content on LinkedIn, not their company. When an employee connects with a prospect on LinkedIn, that connection also belongs to the individual. Companies are losing leads and potential opportunities because they don’t collect that information in their CRM or marketing automation platform.

Extend Your Brand to Affiliates

While HiHello Enterprise was designed with the enterprise customer in mind, we also recognized that not all organizations have a typical company structure. For example, in real estate, insurance, financial planning, and education (among others), there are often stakeholders who aren’t a direct part of your organization's structure, but do need to leverage the organization’s brand and the credibility that comes from it. 

With this in mind, we’re also introducing a new enterprise feature called the Brand Partner Program that allows organizations to maintain control of their brand while inviting their affiliates (real estate agents, insurance agents, financial planners, students, etc) to create their own individual or small group accounts that can inherit the brand guidelines of the parent organization.
